Refinishing is, of course, the restoration of the old worn out furniture finish applied to your instrument many years ago. To remove the old finish, apply the new colour, and the new furniture finish, we at Silverwood Pianos use environmentally friendly products wherever possible. Customers are encouraged to restore their instrument to its original colour. This is usually how it will look best. Variations in the colour desired do occur, however, such as colour schemes on interior design, or lots of damage to the woodwork on the instrument itself. Refinishing varies in cost, depending on the detail of your woodwork, or the amount of wood damage. The best choice for consumers is to have your piano inspected for this type of repair.
